Our story

Prakash's grandfather built this house in stone and slate, above the orchards, at the top of eleven hairpin bends. Prakash grew up here, left for a hotel job in Delhi, and spent twenty years telling guests about the hills he'd left.

Is breakfast included?

Yes, in every room, every morning.

How do I get there?

By train to Kathgodam, then about 2.5 hours by road. Mohan can pick you up for ₹3,000 each way (sample price).

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancel up to 7 days before you arrive and we'll return your advance.

Is there a minimum stay?

Two nights if your stay includes a Saturday night, three over Christmas and New Year.

Do you take guests from abroad?

Yes. Send your number with its country code. You'll need your passport at check-in.

Is the road safe?

It's a good road with eleven hairpin bends. The last 2 km is narrow, so drive slowly after dark.
